Argentine composer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles.
Best known for his decade-long collaboration with two-time Academy Award-winner Gustavo Santaolalla, Juan has contributed to Emmy and BAFTA-nominated scores for film, TV, and video games, including The Last of Us, Dear Child (Netflix), and Wild Life (National Geographic).
He specializes in dramatic storytelling, injecting high levels of emotion into his music — ideal for dramas, thrillers, suspense, and mind-expanding films. He also leads two personal projects: Cacique Torcido, a shamanic audiovisual experience, and Juan X Luqui, his rock/pop project with the album Escombros (Nov 2025).
Juan is also the founder of Art Mystery School, an online school dedicated to helping artists uncover and strengthen their creative identity. Through free artist circles, masterclasses and invitation-only events, he guides creators worldwide to connect with and empower their authentic artistic voice.
